What Has He Done For You Lately?

Does your husband bring you flowers? Maybe he brings you chocolate, your favorite lunch, a special treat, or perhaps clothes? Mine does. I should clarify, however, so that none of the ladies get jealous, that he does these things sometimes. Sometimes....not frequently.

Who needs flowers? They just die. Chocolate, lunch, and treats are not good for the 41 yr old waistline. And do I really want him to bring me his style of ladies' clothing, or give me the day off and the cash to pick out my own? Who am I kidding? I am a romantic at heart and love every little thing he spoils me with! Every little thing except critters. Seriously, has your man ever come home with something like this?

Just when he downsized the household zoo population little Stinkyface found her way into my home. This is one animal I begged him years ago to never bring home! "It's for the kids," he says. "They'll love her!" That they do, but guess who has to deal with ferret cage management all day long?

I thought I was going to change the name of the blog, since it wasn't so zooesque around here anymore. Is zooesque a word? Sounds good. I suppose I'll leave the name alone. I should probably just get used to the fact that I'll forever live in a zoo, and my animal loving, child at heart husband knows me too well....knows that I'll eventually fall in love with the little thing.
